I believe they’re shaped by what they survive. When I’m not reading or writing, I’m running, hiking, playing board games, or chasing whatever ADHD-fueled side quest takes hold that day. Some people binge shows—I collect obsessions.

I share my home with a small (okay, large) menagerie of animals who watch me with unsettling intelligence. I’m fairly certain they’re planning something. My version of self-care involves tattoo needles and ink—turning pain into something permanent and intentional feels honest in a way comfort rarely does.

My husband is a retired Navy man, which means my life has been shaped by movement, distance, and learning how to adapt quickly. We’ve lived in several places, and while the addresses changed, the restlessness stayed. Travel still calls to me—new cities, unfamiliar faces, stories layered with history. All of it feeds my writing.

When the house is quiet and no one needs me, you’ll often find me in Azeroth, deep in World of Warcraft, chasing quests that promise answers but usually lead to consequences. It feels fitting.

At the end of the day, I rule a chaotic little kingdom—boys, beasts, books, and a mind that never stops pulling at loose threads.
